The certification is flexible in how it is delivered to allow for part-time and distance learning in addition to being designed to be completed over the course of one academic year for full-time study.
Only authorised centres are permitted to provide the degree in person, via lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance learning, and online.
The centre conducts internal assessments of each unit for this qualification, and OTHM does an external verification. The credentials are based on the accomplishment of all the predetermined learning outcomes and are criteria referenced.
Learners must present proof that they have satisfied all learning outcomes and complete all assessment criteria requirements in order to receive a “pass” for a unit. The Assessor decides whether or not the Learners successfully met the assessment requirements.
An audit trail should be provided by the assessor to demonstrate how the assessment of the learners’ overall success was made.
