The OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Management is available to students as young as 16. Although OTHM does not set entrance criteria for these certificates, delivery centres must make sure that students enrolled to the programme are capable of completing the learning and assessment at the appropriate level.
The OTHM Centre must make sure that it will accommodate students’ requirements, promote learning, and allow for advancement. The certification is made available in English. Therefore, if a student is not from a nation where English is the primary language, they must show proof of English language proficiency.
OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 3 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels.
Qualification structure
The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy consists of 3 mandatory units for a combined total of 60 credits, 600 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 240 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

The certificate is flexible enough to allow for part-time and remote learning in addition to being designed to be given over the course of 6 months for full-time study. Only authorised centres are permitted to provide the degree in person, via lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance learning, and online.
