The syllabus covers core modules like Strategic Planning and Management , Operational Management ,Research Methods , Marketing,Strategic Financial Management, Organisational Behaviour, Critical and Creative Thinking, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. It also includes specific modules like Cultural Leadership, Event Management in Practice, Cultural Policy
By the end of this programme, you will have gained the technical knowledge and practical experience required to effectively: set up and manage cultural projects or organisations in line with legal requirements; distinguish how events can contribute to society across all levels of provision locally and internationally; reflect on the influence of culture and cultural differences on leadership skills, behaviour effectiveness and performance; and apply critical thinking in a practical way to demonstrate enhanced and effective cross-cultural leadership capacities and skills.
Art Director
They are professionals who are in charge of developing and maintaining a creative vision that speaks to the reader, viewer, or user. To accomplish this, they manage teams of designers who work on creative projects such as film and television advertising, graphic design, and marketing.
Event managers
They perform tasks such as finding and booking venues, liaising with clients and suppliers, handling logistics, managing budgets and invoicing, organizing accreditation, managing risk and presenting post-event reports.
Festival directors
They are responsible for the logistical planning, organization, and execution of music/movie/cultural festivals. They work with a large assortment of people and businesses in order to ensure that the festival goes off without a hitch.
Event Producer
They manage the logistics to enable this to go as smoothly as possible. Depending on the nature of the project, an Event Producer may also be involved in bringing content ideas to the table, and may be tasked with booking guests, artists and other contributors.
Art advisor
They provide expert advice to a private individual in order to build and manage their collection of art over time. They will often advise on the best pieces to source for investment purposes and will have expert knowledge of a specific art form such as impressionist, post-war or classical.
Cultural adviser
They work with businesses and organizations to help them communicate effectively with others who are from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Cultural advisers usually have a specialty such as business management, banking, education, or computer technology.
Gallery manager
Their job is to manage an art space and ensure there is a show for people to see as frequently as possible. As part of this, they meet with artists, discuss the needs of an exhibition, decide which artwork should go on display, and plan each event at the facility.
Art Curator
Their work involves buying exhibits, organising exhibitions, arranging restoration of artefacts, identifying and recording items, organising loans and dealing with enquiries. All of these tasks require curators to work with colleagues in areas such as conservation, education, design and marketing.
