This course comprises basic subjects that include ample assessments, theory, and practical assignments to prepare students in dealing with the technical aspects of Aviation, especially in Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling, Airlines, Aircraft, Airports, and other Aviation Technical matters. It also includes teachings of propulsion, electronics, the theory of aerodynamics, automatic control and guidance, material science, etc. The students are well trained during the learning process in developing skills while understanding everything.
As a part of the practical training session, they are also exposed to a Live Operational Aircraft and are simultaneously taught by professionals about its working and how the maintenance is done. While learning about aircraft maintenance, repairing and the engineering behind it, they tend to understand the fundamental concepts and also try to solve the arising problems on their own. This helps them in building self-confidence and gets them motivated. The trainers then make them responsible for keeping the aircraft in airworthy condition.
At the institution, the teachers and trainers are well qualified and experienced. Along with practical sessions and training in aircraft engineering, they are also taught about the safety measures that have to be taken with regard to the aircraft or passengers in case of any emergency.
The students studying this course are trained to handle an aircraft in perfect flying conditions. After the completion of the course, the students may find job opportunities in both the private sector as well as the public sector. Some of the job areas are Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Air Traffic Control, Ground Equipment Engineering, and Management, etc.
